You don’t have to be in crisis to seek therapy. It’s not just for when life falls apart—it’s for those who want to grow, evolve, and live fully. Therapy is for anyone ready to step into their best self. Whether you’re looking to enhance emotional well-being, make empowered life changes, or heal from the past, therapy offers the tools to transform your life.

Therapy is an act of self-love. It’s about being brave enough to take the steps necessary for healing, growth, and creating a peaceful, fulfilling life.

Experience Therapy Your Way: Online or In-Person

Thanks to modern technology, therapy has never been more accessible. With HIPAA-compliant telemedicine tools, you can connect with us from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere you choose. All you need is a computer, tablet, and reliable internet connection. Simple. Easy. Transformative.

Prefer in-person sessions? Our office offers a warm, welcoming space where we can work together face-to-face.

Your Journey Starts with a FREE 20-Minute Consultation

Let’s make sure we’re the perfect fit for each other! Your first step is a no-pressure, 20-minute phone consultation. During this call, you’ll have a chance to share your story, ask questions, and get a feel for how therapy can help. This is your moment to decide if we’re the right match for your goals. If not, we’ll provide you with a referral to someone who might be a better fit.

Real Change Starts When You Take the First Step

Congratulations—you’re already on your way! Therapy is not just about what happens in our sessions—it’s about what you do each day along the way. After you schedule your appointment, you’ll receive your first homework assignment (yes, you read that right!). These intake forms aren’t just paperwork—they’re a vital part of your healing process. They’ll help you identify your goals, challenges, and vision for the future.

This step sets the foundation for your commitment to change.

About Our Team

Ashley Ray, LCSW-S, CCTP, TIYT

Founder & Clinical Director

In 2003 I noticed I was caught in cycles of trauma and negative patterns, feeling like a victim of my circumstances. But everything changed when I committed to a path of deep healing and transformation through yoga, meditation, breathwork, and a profound dive into spiritual studies. At the same time, I was pursuing my psychology degree, beginning to weave together mind, body, and spirit. That awakening taught me how to empower myself—how to create the life I wanted instead of reacting to the life I was given. I learned how to truly heal and step into the life I had always dreamed of.

After earning my Master’s in Clinical Social Work, I served in the U.S. Peace Corps, teaching emotional intelligence to at-risk youth and training local counselors. Returning to the U.S., I began my specialization in trauma, severe mental illness, and crisis intervention, working as a Clinical Manager under one of the most brilliant clinical mentors I have every known, Preston Looper, LPC. I provided direct client services, while also providing clinical oversight, support and management of our mobile crisis teams in the community, at the Dallas County Jail and in a Psych ER. These experiences deepened my understanding of trauma, psychosis, and mental illness. I began to refine my ability to recognize the difference between spiritual emergence and chronic psychiatric conditions, a distinction that shifted how I viewed healing. These experiences also enabled me to see the gap between the limited evidence-based clinical methods that were currently available in our healthcare system and what people truly needed in order to heal. The psychospiritual work of the field was missing on a large scale, and many people were not able to find healing methods that worked for them due limitations in clinical advancements.

It was with Kedar Brown, LPC, the founder of Rites of Passage Counsel, that I learned how to integrate my identity as a skilled and licensed mental health clinician with my soul’s work as an alternative medicine woman and shamanic practitioner. Through Kedar’s guidance and apprenticeship, I began to embrace my own spiritual intuition, which ultimately led me to form AUM Integral Wellness in 2015. At AUM, I bring together modern clinical psychology, somatic sciences, integral psychology, and ancient wisdom to offer a truly holistic approach to healing trauma, anxiety and spiritual crisis—one that nurtures the mind, body, heart and spirit in an integrated way.

I’m also deeply grateful for Linda Starr, LCSW, the founder of Shamanic Breathwork, whose teachings continue to support my growth as I integrate shamanic practices into my therapeutic work on both a personal and professional level. It’s this psychospiritual integration that allows us to go beyond traditional psychotherapy, helping people heal on every level of their being.

Through my work, I’ve developed The Psychotherapeutic Massage Method, which supports emotional release and trauma healing by addressing how memories and pain are stored in the body’s tissues. My goal is to empower people to reclaim their health, connect to their intuition, and transform their lives from the inside out—so they can create the life they love.

At AUM I practice Clinical Shamanic Psychotherapy, a process that includes learning somatic tools in order to achieve internal equilibrium, find your deepest sense of self, connect with your internal wisdom and trust your intuitive guidance, which supports a natural and organic healing process as we integrate a variety of evidence-based therapy techniques and shamanic practices within a measurement-based care clinical model.

If you’re ready to dive deep, heal holistically, and integrate ancient wisdom with modern psychology, I’m here to guide you on that journey.

Mukti Devi, TIYT, MA Clinical Counseling Candidate

Holistic Psychotherapist Student Intern, Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher

I feel called to work with human folks who are experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety or anyone who suffers with the thought that life was supposed to be more than this. Using somatic interventions and an integrative therapeutic approach, I help people learn to be the creators, authors and healers of their own lives.

I support people in returning to their True Self, a state of being unencumbered by social stories or limiting beliefs, a state of inner freedom. Using a humanistic and person-centered approach, I utilize the strengths that already dwell  within an individual to draw forward their innate self-worth and self-love. Bringing a background in trauma-informed yoga therapy, rehabilitative pilates, and many years on a dedicated spiritual path, I offer allyship and unconditional positive regard for everyone I work with, no matter their current circumstances.

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemplative  Psychology and am completing my Masters in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling studies at Naropa University. Most notably, I received five years training while living in India in both Tibetan Buddhism and Advaita-Vedanta while living and serving within a monastic ashram community. I am a practitioner of Jungian Tarot, Shamanism, Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and Vedic  Astrology. Forms of self-care that I practice regularly include meditation, herbalism/plant  medicine, drumming, yoga, tai chi, cooking, poetry (haiku), and walking barefoot on the Earth.  I live with my beloved partner and plant family.

I am under clinical supervision with Ashley Ray, LCSW-S while completing student internship hours.

Jennifer Bailey

Reiki Master & Soul Integration Facilitator

My approach to whole-life healing began when I was young.  I was an intuitive girl that discovered the world of personal healing through my own physical, mental and spiritual struggles and traumas. I discovered that we all have an unending potential to awaken and heal. I later received specialized training in energy healing and successfully operated my own wellness business for over 5 years.

If I have he privilege of working with you one-on-one I will blend intuitive counseling, spiritual life coaching, energetic repatterning, Reiki, and meditation techniques into a special alchemy that supports you in balancing your energetic field and aligning with your higher self and souls journey.

I find it deeply fulfilling to have this opportunity to work with the tremendous team of practitioners at AUM, and be part of an integral and holistic wellness business that has service and integrity at its core of values.

What Clients Have to Say

“I started therapy with Ashley a couple of months ago now and the time I’ve shared with her has offered me so much insight into myself and the world. Her wisdom in all areas and her way of communicating it, is mind blowing and something you can’t help but be thankful for. She has a beautiful way of making everything flow organically so things never feel awkward. In fact, it feels as though she’s just always in sync with you.
As someone living with mental illness and everything it comes with, I can say she’s had a profound impact in helping me actively cope and live with or move on from things.”

Uraenia, 21, Artist

“I would recommend online therapy to anyone because I personally found it to be very effective in a short amount of time. I feel like I made much more progress in 6 sessions than friends have made in years of therapy.”

Anonymous, Germany, F

“One of the things I liked most about holistic psychotherapy with Ashley is that it was not hours of endless talk therapy analyzing details, and was instead about cultivating awareness, shifting perspective and building a set of tools/practices that could be put to use and be effective IMMEDIATELY!”

“A breakthrough I had in therapy was being able to face and sit with emotions instead of being overwhelmed by them and repressing them. I am better able to step outside the constant river of thoughts and not so easily be swept away by them.”

Anonymous

“I would recommend Therapy in The Park for anyone who needs a little extra help finding ways to cope with mental health challenges, stress, anxiety, etc. The environment was very relaxing. I liked learning mindfulness tools that I could apply in me ‘real’ life outside of therapy.”

Ariel B., 23, Student

“I have had experiences with maybe three therapists in the last 10 – 12 years. After being introduced to yoga about six years ago, I found great benefits in the yoga experience. Eventually, I felt that I needed to
seek out a practitioner that was a traditional trained therapist that also weaves into the therapy yoga philosophy and meditation. I found that here, with Ashley.”
