Where is your office?
Our physical office is located at 8350 Meadow Road, Suite 265, Dallas, TX 75231.
You can park in the lot out front directly off of Meadow Rd. When you are facing the building, go in the doors on the left. At the top of the stairs, go right. We are the first office on your right. Come on in!
llAre online services just as good as in-person services?
Absolutely. In our experience, clients that choose online therapy are pleasantly surprised by how intimate online therapy can truly feel.
They enjoy receiving the benefits of therapy from the comfort of their own space, without needing to drive to a session.
Additionally, if life events that come up like bad weather or illness, telehealth services helps us maintain continuity of care without compromising your treatment progress by a missed session.
What are your office hours?
Monday – Saturday 8am – 8pm. However, we stop answering our phones at 6pm. Building locks at 6:45, so please just text us at 214-432-3075 when you arrive and someone will come let you in!
How long are sessions?
Your very first appointment is called an Initial Intake. This appointment is 1.5 hours.
Regular sessions are a traditional therapy hour of 50 minutes.
What is involved in an ‘initial intake’?
An initial intake is 1.5 hours. During this appointment, we will review your intake documentation and assessment forms, so that we can clarify your needs and what you desire. We will ensure your metric-based care evaluations are in completed so that we may have an evidence-based way of tracking your progress over time. Lastly, we will establish some wellness goals that help ground your therapy experience and support a focused therapeutic experience. Our hope is that you leave this session feeling empowered, hopeful. You and your Holistic Therapist will have a shared understanding of why you are here and what you want to accomplished through working with AUM.
Do you take insurance?
No. However, we do work with a third-party Out-of-Network Billing Agent, that can help you secure the best rate through your out-of-network benefits if you have a PPO plan.
You can find out what your out-of-network coverage is for counseling services by contacting your insurance provider, or we can provide this information for you.
How do I schedule an appointment?

During the consultation, we’ll ask you some questions to determine which of our counselors may be a good fit for you. You’ll have an opportunity to ask any questions about the services we provide.
What is your cancellation policy?
You will be charged the full cost of your session for same day cancellations. However, if we can rebook you within the same business day, we will waive the cancellation fee. Additionally, you may always switch to a tele-health session free of charge.
Prior day cancellations will be charged $100 late cancellation fee.
What demographic do you serve?
Men and women between the ages of 11 – 75.
What is Holistic Psychotherapy?
Holistic psychotherapy takes into consideration the entirety of who you are as in individual, beyond just their mental and emotional wellness.
We also see that a person’s physical, spiritual, relationship and environmental wellness play a meaningful role in their overall sense of wellness and ability to successfully heal and transform. In addition to clinical psychotherapy, many of our therapists utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities that are complimentary alternative medicine practices to support your overall wellness.
What is Yoga Psychotherapy?
Yoga psychotherapy is a powerful tool for developing a sense of calm, relaxation, and peace in the body, mind, and emotions. It is an evidence-based approach to support regulation of the nervous system and is often used in treating anxiety, trauma and ADHD.
Yoga psychotherapy is applied by using yogic breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, physical postures, and focused concentration. It supports the mind-body connection, increases tolerance for discomfort, and generates connects you with your internal peace and bliss.
Yoga psychotherapy can show you how to let go, release tension, process intense emotions, and improve impulse control.
In sessions, Yoga Psychotherapy can be integrated throughout your therapy session, or used as a standalone modality.
What is Energy Therapy?
Energy therapy works with the subtle body, or energy body and chakra system, that is often connected through a regular yoga or meditation practice. Reiki energy healing is recognized by medical insurance as a valid therapeutic.
An energy session can help you to connect with their spirituality and intuition, as well as restore the natural energetic flow of the body, heart and mind to heal itself naturally.
If you’re someone that feels like you ‘pick up on’ other’s energy and feel too cluttered to discern your intuition, you may benefit from an Energy Therapy session.
Energy Therapy can take place during your psychotherapy session or can standalone.
I’m only interested in Yoga. Do I have to be in therapy to receive private yoga lessons?
Absolutely not! Our certified Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher love to provide private and small group yoga lessons. You can also access trauma-informed yoga and meditation classes in our Therapeutic Wellness Studio. You can find these classes on our Classes & Events tab.
How often do clients receive homework assignments?
Every session you’ll receive homework to complete between sessions. Homework is designed to bring the therapy work to your daily life. We like to think of homework more as ‘personal practice work.’
The daily practices that you learn to cultivate through our work together are what create the most lasting change for your life!
Do you work with people who are religious or spiritual?
Both! Incorporating your spiritual or religious connection with the divine is of utmost importance in the work that we do together.
If you do not feel religious or spiritual, that is okay, too. A large part of the work that we’ll do together will be centered around connecting with your deepest values and beliefs, so that any step you take in therapy are aligned with your highest sense of self and purpose.
What other alternative therapies do you provide?
At AUM, in addition to psychotherapy and yoga psychotherapy, we offer mindfulness training, private yoga instruction, meditation guidance, breathwork, energy work, massage therapy, fitness instruction, nutritional healing coaching, and sound healing.
We’re partnered with other holistic practitioners, functional medicine doctor, acupuncturist, chiropractors that can provide services as a supportive adjunct to the services you receive through AUM.
Do you work with corporations?
Yes. We love providing corporate mindfulness training, stress management courses, and professional consultation to corporations that desire to enhance the wellness, productivity, and comradery of their employees and teams.
Do you do public speaking events?
Yes. Please contact us with your needs and interests. We would love to see how we can fulfill them.
What is Massage Trauma Release?
Massage Trauma Release is a therapeutic technique designed to help individuals process and release physical and emotional trauma stored in the body. This form of massage is a collaborative process between client and Massage Therapist to identify areas of the body in which emotional wounds are stored as tension in the body. As we work with these areas in a unique way through the use of therapeutic pressure, movement and relaxation, emotional energy may be released and distress associated with trauma memories diffused.
What is Spiritual Awakening Counseling?
Spiritual Awakening Counseling is a therapeutic approach that helps individuals navigate their spiritual journeys and personal transformations. It combines psychological principles with spiritual practices to support clients in understanding their experiences, finding meaning, and fostering personal growth during their awakening process.
