Classic Swedish Massage

The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body. The relaxing effects of this massage can support rebalancing of the nervous system along with easing stress and anxiety.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a modality used to combat chronic myofascial pain by applying gentle sustained pressure and traction to loosen tough membranes that restrict your physical and emotional being. MFR provides the space needed to address chronic pain, trauma, anxiety and depression.

Deep Tissue

Remove muscle tension, pain from muscle trigger points, and realign a multitude of layers through soft tissue manipulation with a focus on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding all bones, joints, and muscles).

Harmonizing Essential Oil Treatment

A wonderful immune booster, this session begins with a series of 8 herbal essential oils will be massaged into the inner arch of the feet and then dropped onto the spine (feeling much like rain drops) and gently massaged in, also using a carrier oil such as coconut oil. Light neck massage is also included. Only shoes/socks and shirt need to be removed for this treatment.

Reiki/Energy Therapy

This evidence-based treatment involves very light touch, or no physical touch, often with a focus on listening to energy centers of your body, the chakras, helping to bring balance to all levels, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual.

Trauma-Informed Psychotherapeutic Massage

This is an approach to creating a safe, supportive space for you to experience therapeutic touch through connection with the breath and increased body awareness. Often slower and gentler than a traditional massage and with more communication throughout the session. You will be taught safety point, safety postures and regulation skills that may be utilized throughout the psychotherapeutic massage and between sessions. This massage incorporates options for the sake of personal empowerment and support in building interoceptive awareness in your body. 

Trauma-Focused Psychotherapeutic Massage

An intensive approach designed to help clients address the deeper emotional and physical impacts of trauma. Building on the principles of Psychotherapeutic Massage, this method focuses on utilizing targeted massage techniques to help release trauma stored in the body. The therapist works with the client to identify and explore areas where emotional or physical trauma may be held, offering a collaborative dialogue to support the client’s understanding and awareness of their emotional and somatic experience. Through specific touch techniques and trauma-sensitive practices, the therapist helps the client complete the stress cycle and release trapped emotions, fostering healing and emotional recovery. This method is ideal for individuals who have experienced significant trauma or those looking for a more focused approach to emotional and physical healing.
